Nestled in the heart of London, City St George's Clerkenwell campus boasts a prime location among three vibrant districts: Islington, known for its diverse dining and shopping; Shoreditch, famous for its creativity and nightlife; and Clerkenwell, a hub of design and cosy bars.
Our campus is also located in London’s dynamic Knowledge Quarter, offering access to academic and cultural resources. Our proximity to the City of London, Tech City, major arts complexes, media offices, legal institutions, and healthcare centres provides excellent professional opportunities across various industries.

Accommodation

City St George's offers a range of accommodation options and support services to help you settle in London.
Our University has dedicated postgraduate halls of residence (Alliance House, Eleanor Rosa House, and iQ City) with self-catered facilities, all within easy travelling distance from campus. Weekly rent for these halls ranges from £232 to £338 (2024/25 academic year), and they are available for students enrolling in the September intake.
You can apply for halls after you have firmly accepted your course offer. Priority for room allocations is given to students with disabilities or severe medical conditions, followed by others on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the date of the housing application. In August 2024, City, University of London merged with St George’s, University of London. We are now City St George’s, University of London.
Though we are now one institution, full integration will take some time. You may still see reference to our legacy City and St George’s names and logos, but these will be updated to reflect the merger in due course.
For the 2025/26 academic year, we are operating under a ‘dual running model’, with separate application policies and procedures. Programmes and study locations for 2025 entry are expected to remain unchanged.
