Our placement and internship options give you the chance to apply your learning in real organisations, gain confidence in the workplace and develop the skills employers value most.
One Year MSc Placement
If you want a full year of professional experience, you can apply for the MSc with Placement version of your programme. This route adds a twelve-month full-time placement after your taught modules and before your final project submission.
- You must apply for the course code that includes the placement
- The placement is full time and paid
- Your MSc is extended by one year
- International students can work full time because the placement is credit bearing
- The placement year fee is £2,000

These shorter internships offer focused, practical experience that can complement your MSc project or stand alone. They’re a great way to understand the roles and sectors you may want to pursue after graduation, while gaining valuable insight into industry expectations.
Three‑Month Client‑Based Projects
Start: Follows the standard MSc timeline
Work directly with a real company on a real business challenge. Your final project is shaped by your client’s requirements, giving you the chance to apply your academic knowledge to real‑world problems. This experience strengthens your CV and helps you develop professional insight early in your career.
