The Graduate Entry LLB Law (GE LLB) explained
A Graduate Entry LLB allows you to achieve a senior status law degree as a non-law graduate in just two years rather than the regular three. If you intend to practise law in the UK, you can obtain an exemption from the academic stage of training over two years.
You can choose from specialist legal subjects and take work placements during the summer recess.
This is a full-time course, taught on-campus
Why study the GE LLB with us
The GE LLB in practice
Accelerated Law knowledge and skills
The programme is a fully-recognised law degree by the legal professions of England and Wales.
The programme consists of two parts, each taken full time in successive academic years. The first part consists of four of the core legal subjects and English Legal System and the second part consists of the remaining three core legal subjects together with six legal elective subjects of your choice. In addition to a wide range of electives from which to choose, you can elect to write a dissertation of 6,000- 8,000 words.
Progressing towards your career in Law
We offer extracurricular activities include mooting and client interviewing. The City Law School also runs a pro bono programme to help you develop essential employability skills.
Many graduates from the programme go on to take The City Law School's Solicitors’ Practice Programme (SPP) in order to practise as solicitors. Others choose to take our Bar Vocational Studies (BVS) route to qualify as barristers.

You will have access to the purpose-built Law Building, City St George’s extensive library and IT facilities, accommodation (including three dedicated Postgraduate Halls of Residence), healthcare and counselling, sport and leisure facilities; you also have access to some of the facilities of the University of London.
