  • Pranay Maniar (MA International Journalism, 2025) secured a role at CNN-News18 before even finishing his master's degree at City St George's. Immersive training across print, radio, and TV – alongside a close-knit, supportive cohort – made him ready to hit the ground running.

  • Jaz Rabadia MBE (MSc Energy, Environmental Technology and Economics, 2009) has spent two decades championing sustainability at global brands like Starbucks, WeWork, and JustEat – earning an MBE, a Women of the Year award, and a reputation as one of the sector's most inspiring voices.

  • Maud Lepaon (MA International Politics and Human Rights, 2021) has built a career intersecting human rights and environmental protection. Working with Rainforest Foundation UK to support Indigenous communities and safeguard forests, she was recognised with the Social Action Award at the 2025 British Council Study UK Alumni Awards.

    "That is what I wanted to pursue: advocating for climate actions that encompass the human rights aspect of it. Those topics are really close to my heart, and I think that’s what inspired me the most.”

  • Dr Jessamy Hibberd (MSc Health Psychology, 2005) aims to make practical tools for managing overthinking accessible to everyone. The author of The Imposter Cure (2024) and The Overthinking Cure (2026), she has built her career around helping people think more clearly, feel better, and live more fully.

    “I loved City [St George’s] and was so happy to be back learning again. It was during my MSc that I took a module in Clinical Psychology, and that’s when I knew what I wanted to do.”

  • Katrina Deering (LLM Bar Vocational Course, 2022) has dedicated her legal career to pro bono work and fighting injustice. After working with Death Row defence lawyers in the US, she is now an Advocate in Immigration Tribunals and was shortlisted for the Amicus Champions of Justice Award 2024.
