Established in 2022, we support and develop the next generation of practitioners and entrepreneurs who work across, the cultural, creative, music, heritage and media sectors.

Come along to our SCC Meet and Greet
Wednesday 30 September, 2pm - 3:30pm, The Great Hall (College Building)
Join our SCC Meet and Greet to get to know our School and meet other new students. There will be plenty of things to get involved in, from games and sports to video games, crafts and so much more!
You’ll also have the chance to meet our Dean, Anna, and other colleagues from across the School to learn more about the people here to support you throughout your time with us.
No need to book ahead, just come along on the day!

Student Wellbeing Officers
At City St George's, you have lots of support networks available to you to help you each step of your journey at University.
Student Wellbeing Officers (formerly known as Student Welfare Officers) are your first points of contact for any wellbeing or student experience related issues- they are here to help no matter how large or small the issue.
You can contact the team through Support@City, our dedicated portal that allows you to submit and track your queries.

Course Office
Your Course Office is responsible for the administration and official records of students.
You may have a question about the organisation of your course’s modules, Moodle page enrolment, program or module changes, timetabling clashes, or how to submit an assessment. Your Course Office will be happy to answer any such questions.

Academic Advisers
Every student at the University is assigned an Academic Adviser (formerly known as Personal Tutors) to support them with their studies. They are there to help you navigate the academic aspects of student life and support your progress.
They are a key point of contact throughout your programme, offering advice, helping you make the most of your university experience, and encouraging you to think about your future beyond City St George's.
You will be allocated your Academic Adviser during the first few weeks of the academic year.

Module Leaders
Your course is made up of different modules or topics. Your Module Leader is the lecturer who oversees the specific module (topic) you are being taught.
A Module Leader is the first point of contact for any queries you may have about the content of what you are studying.
You can contact them via Moodle and will meet them during your first week of teaching.

Programme Director
Your Programme Director has an overview of all operational issues concerning your programme. They have the responsibility of coordinating module leaders and actioning any feedback from Student Staff Liaison Committees (SSLC).
They will strive to make continuous improvements to the programme through feedback from, Student Representatives, staff and the SSLC.

Go beyond your subject
Societies are a great way to explore your subject further, meet new people and discover new opportunities and interests. We have highlighted a few that might be of interest to you below, but there are a whole array of student groups run by students for students, catering to diverse interests from hobbies to academia to spirituality to networks.
