When will I receive a decision regarding my application?
The Admissions team aims to issue decisions as soon as they are able. Please ensure that you have provided all the documentation required in order to assist them in making a timely review of your application.
When do I need to have provided all my supporting evidence to meet the conditions of my offer?
For courses in the School of Health & Medical Sciences, Clerkenwell Campus
Please check your conditional offer letter email for the deadline date in which you must provide all the documentation for your offer. If you are facing significant delays in attaining these documents, please get in touch to let the Admissions team know so that this can be noted on your record.
For courses in the City Law School, School of Communication & Creativity, School of Policy & Global Affairs and School of Science & Technology
There is no deadline to provide the documentation required to meet the conditions of your offer. Where possible, we would recommend providing documents before the summer, but we understand that this is often out of your control. If you are facing significant delays in attaining these documents, please get in touch to let the Admissions team know so this can be noted on your record.
Please note that, if requiring a Student Visa, the Admissions team will only issue CAS to be used in your application once all conditions are met, your offer accepted, and a deposit paid (if required) or a fully-funded sponsorship/scholarship confirmed.
When do I need to accept my offer and pay my deposit?
You should accept your offer and pay your deposit (if applicable - please refer to your offer letter for details) within 28 days. If you are unable to accept and pay your deposit within 28 days, please let the Admissions team know by responding to your offer letter and they can investigate whether an extension would be possible.
Do you have any scholarships I am able to apply for?
You can search for external and internal funding opportunities using our search tool.
My degree/English language results are below the requirements in my offer letter, can I still be accepted onto the course?
In such cases, we would recommend contacting the Admissions team to see if your results can be accepted. Any such decisions will be taken on a case-by-case basis.
How do I apply for a CAS?
You will only be invited to apply for a CAS once you have met all of your outstanding conditions, accepted your offer, and paid your deposit (or have a confirmed sponsorship or scholarship arrangement).
CAS issuance normally begins around three months before the start date of your course. For those beginning a course in September, this is normally in early June. We advise that you apply for your CAS as soon as possible to ensure adequate time for your visa application.
Can I defer my studies?
Yes, you are able to request a deferral for your studies with us. Most applicants can only defer once. You will need to email the Admissions team if you wish to do this.
Can I study part-time?
Some courses have part-time delivery and this should be confirmed on the course page. Please note that if you wish to study part time on a visa, you will be subject to certain restrictions: no work, no work placements, no dependants. Further information is on the visa pages.
