Our School
As the original provider of legal education as the Inns of Court School of Law, The City Law School has unmatched experience and reputation amongst legal professionals. The School has a unique and historic connection with the City of London, home to the most prestigious law courts, legal firms and headquarters of international human rights organisations.
We are focussed on giving you a solid legal knowledge as well as practical skills to get you work-ready. Our students benefit from the research expertise and our academic staff many of whom have been in legal practice.

City St George's. Together we're more.
In August 2024, City, University of London merged with St George’s, University of London. We are now City St George’s, University of London.
Though we are now one institution, full integration will take some time. You may still see reference to our legacy City and St George’s names and logos, but these will be updated to reflect the merger in due course.
For the 2025/26 academic year, we are operating under a ‘dual running model’, with separate application policies and procedures. Programmes and study locations for 2025 entry are expected to remain unchanged.
