The ceremony will be held at The Barbican, near our Clerkenwell campus. There are many transport links to the site and you can download a useful map showing you where in the building you need to go.

Please remain seated throughout the ceremony and stand only for the incoming and outgoing processions.

Professor André Spicer, Executive Dean, Bayes Business School

André Spicer is an expert in the areas of organisational behaviour, leadership and corporate social responsibility. Prior to joining City St George's, he was Professor of Organisation Studies at the University of Warwick.

He has published extensively in top scholarly journals, such as Academy of Management Review, Organization Science, Academy of Management Annals, Journal of Management Studies, Organization Studies, and Harvard Business Review.

Professor Spicer has also published many books including The Stupidity Paradox (Allen & Unwin), Metaphors We Lead By (Routledge), The Wellness Syndrome (Polity), Business Bullshit (Routledge), and Desperately Seeking Self Improvement (OR).

  2. Opening address: Professor Sir Anthony Finkelstein, President, City St George’s, University of London
  3. Officiating Dean’s speech: Professor Andre Spicer, Executive Dean, Bayes Business School
  4. Award of degrees
  5. Closing address: Tamanna Nai (BSc Business with Marketing)
  6. Outgoing procession: accompanied by ‘Sonata from Die Bankelsangerlieder’ by Daniel Speer
