About Dr Nikos C. Papapostolou

Dr Nikos C. Papapostolou is a leading academic in the field of shipping finance, trade and capital markets at Bayes Business School, City St George’s, University of London. He currently serves as Associate Director of the Costas Grammenos Centre for Shipping, Trade & Finance and is the Course Director of the MSc Shipping, Trade and Finance one of the School’s flagship postgraduate programmes. He also holds the academic title of Reader in Shipping Finance.

He has been part of the Centre since 2002, progressing through academic and leadership roles and, in 2017, taking on responsibility for managing scholarships from the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation as their Programme Lead.
